Track changes and reach the right people on any asset

The Activity tab, available on each asset detail page in dScribe Catalog, is your go-to space for collaboration. It allows you to ask questions, share updates, and keep track of discussions related to an asset.


History

Maintaining a record of changes is essential for effective documentation. The History section helps you track who made changes and what was modified. It also allows you to view the last 10 updates, including the contributors.

Click "Show changes" to see the specific modifications made.


Comments

In the Comments section, you can mention both assets and people using the @-prefix, making it easy to tag relevant content and team members for better collaboration.

When a user is mentioned, they will receive an email with your message and a link towards the comment.


Contacts Panel

The Contacts panel simplifies access to all relevant people involved with a particular asset. If you have a request, you can easily connect with them via email or Microsoft Teams.

  • How to add a user to the Contacts Panel?

    The asset author and last editor, as well as assigned Owners, will automatically appear here. Administrators can create extra custom properties of type Collaborator. Users assigned under this property will automatically appear in the Contacts panel as well.
